Fourth of July Parade
This section highlights upcoming activities across Pennsylvania we engage in. This includes our First-placed Cloud Dance float on display September 12th Nicholson Bridge Day and for the July 4th Float Parade. The float was used to commemorate the 100th birthday of the Kingsley Bridge, a.k.a. Martins Creek Viaduct in Montrose. The theme was the depiction of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Centennial September 5th
Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Martins Creek Viaduct, locally known as the Kingsley Bridge. Celebration will be conducted in the village of Kingsley, Susquehanna County Pennsylvania. Details are being worked by a committee of 30 members, but the highlight is planned to be a dance circa 1914, that re-enacts the "Cloud Dance" accomplished on the bridge in 1914.
